Managed by the St. Augustine Historical Society, the site features the oldest surviving Spanish colonial dwelling in Florida, the National Historic Landmark Gonzalez-Alvarez House. Occupied since the 1600s, the present house dates to the early 1700s. There are five other sites within the museum complex: The Manucy Museum, with exhibits of St. Augustine’s 400-year-plus history; the Page L. Edwards Gallery holds temporary and traveling exhibits; the Kitchen shows a typcial 18th-century detached kitchen and the Oldest House Garden has plants typically grown during the colonial period
