Memorial Service and Wreath Laying at Sarasota National Cemetery

A Memorial Service and Wreath Presentation is planned at the Sarasota National Cemetery to remember those that gave the ultimate sacrifice and to those veterans who have passed since August 14, 1945. Program includes 70 Buglers performing Taps - that is one bugler for every year. This event is recognized by the National Spirit of 45 organization as an official wreath laying event, which coincides with an effort to lay wreaths at every veteran cemetery world wide on August 16, 2015. The Todah Memorial will also be on exhibit. The Purpose, Mission and Future the Todah Menorah Memorial is all about saying “Thanks,” paying Tribute and Honoring the WWII Allied Liberators (The Greatest Generation). For more information about the cemetery, visit http://www.cem.va.gov/cems/nchp/sarasota.asp
