HER-Story: Phenomenal Women of Color, Courage and Compassion | Friday February 24 2012

HER-Story is an educational resource for students and community members of all ages. Information is presented in chronological order from the periods of slavery and Reconstruction to the present, and begins with artifacts from Africa. The exhibit features special displays on famous women from Florida such as Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune, Zora Neale Hurston, Eartha M. M. White and Dr. Patricia Stephens Due.
