The Delray Beach Public Art Advisory Board of Delray Beach invites the community to the Opening Dedication Ceremony of “Wild About Wildflowers: Public Art Advisory Board Celebrates Florida 500 Years!” at 5 p.m. February 27, 2013. Nine 4’ square concrete containers holding Wildflowers planted by volunteers Jeanne Fernsworth and Plumosa School of the Arts students. This temporary Public Art Installation is open daily for 9 months and is free and open to the public.

Wild About Wildflowers is in partnership with Miami Artist Xavier Cortada’s Flor 500 Participatory Art Project and Viva Florida 500, the official State of Florida designation event.
