The ACCORD Civil Rights Museum will have a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on July 2, 2014 commemorating the 50th Anniversary Signing of the Landmark Civil Rights Act of 1964. This museum will share the stories of the heroes and sheroes of the St. Augustine Civil Rights Movement led by Dr. Thomas A. Wright, Dr. Robert. B. Hayling, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., & the Southern Christian Leadership Conference.The ACCORD Commemorative Civil Rights Museum is located at the Rudcarlie Building, former dental office of Dr. Robert B. Hayling, leader of the St. Augustine Civil Rights Movement, know as the "Father of the Civil Rights Act of 1964". The address is 79 Bridge Street, St. Augustine, FLThis was the first medical/dental office without a segregated waiting room built by Dr. Rudolph Gordon, America's first Black Maxillo-Facial surgeon. The public is welcome to attend
